What happens to your PDF?

  1. Upload a blank PDF, Word file, photo, or public URL.
  2. We read fillable PDF fields first, then the text layer, then a vision model for scans. Scanned forms may need manual fixes.
  3. Edit the preview and publish when you are ready.

What does the online version do that the PDF can't?

  • Works on a phone as a web form.
  • Short first step; later questions wait until a coordinator decides to proceed.
  • Applications land in a dashboard instead of an inbox.
  • You can embed the published form on your site.

What does it get wrong?

Handwriting-only and image-heavy PDFs convert less accurately. We will publish measured recall after the parsing eval has results. We don't quote an accuracy figure yet.

Is my data private?

Anonymous previews are deleted after 24 hours unless you sign up and claim them. If you upload a filled-in application, we reject it and delete the file.

What file types can I upload?

PDF, Word (.docx), JPG, PNG, or HEIC, or a public URL. Max 15 MB and 20 pages. Upload a blank form, not a filled-in application.

What does it cost?

The grader and converter are free. Paid plans haven't been announced yet.

Can I embed the form on WordPress, Squarespace, or Wix?

Published forms can be hosted at your Apply2Volunteer hosted URL (/o/your-org/volunteer) or embedded with a script tag. We have not published a site-builder compatibility list yet.
