How do I edit it in Word or Google Docs?
- Download the Word file.
- Open it in Microsoft Word, or upload it to Google Docs. Google Docs opens .docx files.
- Fill in your organization name and any extra fields you need. Add your own release. Do not paste a waiver from another organization's form unless you have the right to use it.
Paper vs online: when does each make sense?
Paper works for in-person events and volunteers who prefer a clipboard. The limitation: someone has to type the answers later. Online works when people apply from a phone. The limitation: they need a link and a device. Neither is "outdated." Use the one your volunteers will actually finish.
